100 Days in the Life of a Rose: From Boy to Man

Preface

I hope you will find some inspiration and humor in these poems. I started writing them as a release of all the emotions I was experiencing as a young male. Thinking I was in love when I was only in lust. Thinking I was lost when I was following my own path. I put my emotions on paper so I could always reflect on that moment in time because I was scared there would never be a tomorrow.

Do you remember the first time you thought you were in love? All the struggles and tribulations you went through as a young Human Being? What you were doing, thinking, and/or feeling when certain events occurred in your life?

Life is a Strange Journey through Reality and 100 Days in the Life of a Rose: From Boy to Man is just one reflection of my journey. If you have a journal, book, music, art, or anything which you may have created to express yourself; please take it out and reflect on where you were at and the emotions you were feeling when you created it.

My poetry evolved as any species of genome on Mother Earth eventually will. I began to translate Mother Earth’s and her inhabitant’s woes and transposed them into words for our emotional release. I was no longer in lust and understood what love meant. I had found a new path to ensure I am never lost again. I realized with reflection, experience, and education; there actually might not be a tomorrow, so I might as well live for today.
